Submission Guidelines

JMMS is not currently accepting submissions

Submissions should adhere to APA format as described in the latest edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, (5th Ed.). An abstract of no more than 150 words should accompany each manuscript. A short biographical statement of no more than 150 words should also be included providing details of the author's academic/professional affiliations and any applicable publications and websites.

JMMS papers are typically between 4000-8000 words, although consideration will be given to items which fall out of this range if necessary. Book reviews are also welcomed and are 800-1500 words in length.

A note about publication rights and copyright. JMMS generally requires first electronic publication rights, which means your work shouldn’t be available anywhere on the Internet when we publish it. However, JMMS has no interest in owning the copyright to your work: they are your words and you should be free to do what you like with them.
